The body of a schoolgirl found from a paddy field at village Kapastola under Laksam upazila in Comilla on Tuesday morning.
The Laksam police officer-in-charge, Abul kayer, said the girl went out
of her house in the morning as a neighbour, Delowar Hossain, called her
and did not return.
Later the family informed the police about the incident and the lawmen
recovered the body and sent it to Comilla Medical College Hospital
morgue for postmortem examination, the OC said.
The police found the symptoms of rape after the primary investigation, he said.
The police arrested that Delower Hossain, 28, of the village as a
suspect and a case of rape and murder was filed in this connection, the
