The prime minister, Sheikh Hasina, on Thursday donated Tk 10 lakh for the better treatment of Dhali Al Mamun, who was injured in the fatal Manikganj road accident and undergoing treatment at the city's Square Hospital.
Prime minister's assignment officer Manoj Kanti Boral handed over a cheque for Tk 10 lakh to Dilara Zaman Jolly, wife of Mamun, at the hospital.
Filmmaker Tareque Masud, chief executive officer of ATN News Ashfaque Munier and three others were killed on August 13 when a passenger bus hit their microbus on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway in Ghior upazila of Manikganj.
Catherine Masud, wife of the award-winning filmmaker, painter Dhali Al Mamun, his wife Dilara Zaman Jolly and Saidul Islam, a production staff were critically injured in the crash and are now undergoing treatment at the Square Hospital.
